i mean, we were sitting in the room over there, balboa high school, started off some contention, but it was just as terry said, it was very community driven from the beginning. one of the things i love about representing this part of town and i tell people this and i dare and challenge anyone fun to challenge me on this point. this is the most diverse neighborhood and community in the entire united states. and i can tell you because i have knocked on almost every single door in this community. that's how i got elected. and thousands and thousands of doors. and you go to one home, african american, you go to the next home, filipino, you go to the next home, latino, you go to the next home. italian next home, chinese . and it just keeps repeating over and over and over again, sexual orientation, asian age. this is one of the this is the bedrock of san francisco. the folks that live here are second, third, fourth and fifth generation san franciscans. and so this project today, this development is a manifestation of all of the great things that this community represents. and there's so m

so my name is john villanueva villanueva nepomuceno sister, principal of balboa high school, and i'm here representing usf. i want to first urge the district to sell negotiations with our family members at seiu and usf with all full care and expediency so we can all focus on educating our kiddos and serving them with peace of mind. in addition, i'll speak briefly about the svc bond which is being put together by district staff. a few folks have already spoken about it, but last week a coalition of labor unions and community organizations shared our priorities with the district staff and with you on the board of education about what we would like to see in this bond. we hope that you all have taken the time to read them as the issues raised within like bond size, transparency, equity and healthy learning environments are issues many our community can get behind and i can speak personally about my house at balboa. lord knows there's a lot that needs to be happening tomorrow. our friends are going to be descending upon my house for a major vote. so let's take this. think about them as w

well, the high temperatures today creating some issues on bart, the transit agency says riders can expect 20 minute delays this evening on trains passing through the balboa park station. this as the extreme heat is causing track and equipment problems. the running trains at reduced speed because of that, especially in that area of san francisco. this is all as a safety precaution. also, there is currently no red line service between 24th street mission and millbrae and no green line service between berryessa and daly city. as of now, though, the yellow balloon blue and orange lines are running with normal service. we've talked about this before, mark. i mean, you know, those tracks affected by this hot weather and now we're seeing it tonight. yeah, day two of the hot temperatures here in the bay area. yesterday we thought was warm, but today, a little bit warmer. so widespread 90. and it looks like in one more hot day, at least i should say two. but tomorrow is still fairly hot and then some improvement over the weekend. okay it seems like some people don't like not everyone likes the heat. right? so we'll try to work on that for you. yeah but take a loo
