these gop diabetes and weight loss drugs, i think procter & gamble has come down with them. nevermind that they are not in the food or beverage business, i think it is a mistaken one more reason why we own proctor and one more reason why we can find gains. this has been acting like a cereal company. and one of the woodchips of our era, modern labs. the theory is that these new weight-loss drugs will reduce obesity, leading to fewer cases of type two diabetes. i think the stock has been overly punished. and it has really lost it, much more in the sparking captain it could be in sales for the product. i'm pretty lonely in my position so i have to be careful. and two of the most important names for the casual stock follower is netflix and tesla. we've been the hearing lots of commentary about each company. netflix has a downgrade today and tesla is all about the desire to cut rice levels where they can still make money but others can't except for in china. that is not the best position to find yourself in. one of my old favorites, they have captioned a lot of attention lately.

it will be great, kicked the idea around of buying procter & gamble stock. that's not down as much as the food and beverages but still up 4% for the year with.6% yield and they raised the dividend every year. they have. but what we think it's been tarred by the same broad brush as the food and drug business even though, you know, i like the taste of toothpaste but i'm not eating it. this is a rich stock too but i think it's the right thing to buy. i saw a survey and many might of health care that offers these drugs. if it turns out there's broad acceptance of these drugs in a short period of time that no one is expecting i think the earnings estimates have to come down for the food and beverage stocks because people will eat and drink less. it's a volume issue, okay, because they won't crave and are a lot less hungry, volumes go down. remember, it's one thing for interest rates to go higher and quash these stocks. it's another to put your stock portfolio at risk of an earnings miss, especially when the stock is more expensive than the rest of the market. yes

one company that did have some good news as that opening bell rang this morning, procter and gamble beatns, reporting strong sales despite higher prices. only about 10% of the companies in the s&p 500 have reported third quarter earnings so far. so it will be a busy couple of weeks. taking you live to the new york stock exchange, still down across the board with the dow jones slipping a little bit more in the last hour. now down a little more than a half of a percent. 178 points there. united airlines down about 8% after warning about the upcoming quarter. s&p 500 down three quarters of a percent. the nasdaq slipping almost a full percent, 125 points for the nasdaq. amazon is going to begin testing drone deliveries of prescription drugs. the company says customers in college station, texas, can now get prescriptions delivered by a drone within an hour of placing that order, the drone will fly to a customer's address to send to a height of about 13ft and then drop a padded package. amazon says customers will be able to choose from more than 500 medications, but not controlled substances.
