meteorologist vianey arana is here to explain. most of us are popping the different allergy medicines during spring. now you're saying this is like creeping into fall. >> unfortunately when it comes to these types of plants, climate has a lot to do with it because whenever you see the temperatures change, that's where things start to either, you know, extend or get shorter. and climate central, as you mentioned, did an analysis, jess. you can see that according to the difference from average days, there's an earlier spring thaw and a later fall frost. so if you notice this is from 1895 to 2020. what does that even mean? it basically means that because there's less fall frost, it's giving warmer temperatures, which means the plants have more time to keep growing, which extends those allergies into the fall season. so if you're having these plants get warmer temperatures, they keep growing and growing. so what kind of allergies, and why does this matter for climate? well, we've got the seasonal allergens and normally a lot of that p
