our people formed in 1866 in the san bernardino valley.h the purpose of going in the san bernardino mountains to rid the mountains of indian people it was not peaceful they were shooting and killing. our clan down to less than 30 members we were almost wiped off the earth. we have to come out as inldzian people to talk and run for office. political offices throughout the state of california and the nation to ensure the native american voice is heard at all areas and discussions not in the state of california but cross the nation. we continue to work and i still reside on the reservation. i grew and got in politics and tribal chair man and ran for the community upon college board 2005. first in san bernardino to transition from tribal gentleman to the community as a whole and sat on the county board of supervisors for san bernardino county where i was chair of the board for a time. and then now in the state legislator t. is important to talk about the issues that are -- you know coming forward. and partnerships we formed along the way. and
