chp says lanes had flooding up to 12 inches across some lanes.flooding at the intersection of airport boulevard and grand avenue. dangerous conditions had crews scrambling yesterday all day long. there was a deadly crash along kirker pass road in concord. kirker pass road was shut down for hours because of it. and another deadly crash near the sunol exit on 680, bumper-to-bumper traffic because of that crash. investigators say a vehicle with eight people inside went off the road and down an embankment. two people in that crash were killed. others rushed to the hospital. now, as far as san francisco is concerned and the weather, it's been kind of on and off again. just now the rain has felt like it started to come down quite a bit. it's been pretty light all morning. you can see the 80 west, that's just right after the bay bridge right behind us, wet roads, slick roads. the commute seems to be pretty steady this morning. with the new downpour, new rain, we'll see how the roads end up. >> it will probably be off and on all day long. thank you. >>>
