and look at the temperatures down here toward morgan hill. 67, 64 in san jose.to martinez, 61. low to mid 60s napa to santa rosa. so we are in for the dry weather tomorrow. but of course as you have heard me talk about the past couple of days, the chance of rain continues in the forecast. ahead at least. it is desperately needed here. we have had such a slow start to the rain season. what i'm seeing still at this point is by friday and saturday and this storm storm developing in the pacific. it hangs out a couple hundred miles off the bay area. once we hit sunday, monday, tuesday, that storm would move in. i'm seeing widespread rain chances for us. we are not locked in for super snow totals yet. let me give you a preview of the rain, we could get a half inch sunday. and you add in monday and tuesday. so three-day totals here could be one to two inches for the bay area. south bay maybe less right around three quarters of an inch. this is an early estimate. i'm still expecting timing and fluctuations on the intensity the next couple of days. best part of the weeke

temperatures tomorrow afternoon on a decent rebound especially in the south bay. 68 morgan hill's. 66 san jose. cooler toward alameda county. 62 napa and no rainfall just yet. speaking of rainfall it looks like two storms over a four day. are lining up here for us and with that second storm now kind of in the mixed for us, rainfall totals are up on the confidence level of how much rain we think we could be enforced here and it looks like the rainfall won't get here until we head into this weekend. all the way through saturday we expect some dry weather. let me show you the timeline. friday morning is ederaine gathering in the pacific. saturday look at this. it gets real close to the bay area and just about 75 to 100 miles off shore. the center of the storm is off here and by sunday plans in the morning rain returns likely through the day on sunday and here again we get the potential for higher totals. rain hanging on until monday, tuesday, wednesday and it should kick out of here once we rolled into thursday's forecast. right now sunday 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. we could be in a 1 inch o

fairly mild, mid 40s in morgan hill and san jose and right around the bay shoreline.see lows in the mid 40s as well. and tomorrow a pretty mild day. 65 will be the high at half moon bay. we'll see 65 to about 68 around the bay shoreline. the inland east bay, which is often our mildest location, will be the coolest tomorrow with highs only in the low 60s, and we'll see highs up to about 70 at san jose and 71 at morgan hill. now take a look at our future cast forecast animation on saturday night. we'll see the first wave of rain approaching. it'll start to push into the bay area on sunday, followed by more rainfall on monday and some cooler air, perhaps some snow over in the sierra. yet more rain on tuesday and into wednesday. and finally that low pressure system that will be our storm. our rainmaker will start to slide eastward southward rather, and take the rain away. but rainfall totals uh- by next thursday evening, going to be pretty significant over two inches likely in santa rosa and in san francisco, inch and a quarter over that four day period down in san jose.
