this is less than a mile from buchanan airfield kron four's amanda hari reports. >> it's a sad day for the people who use buchanan airfield. if you take a look behind me, you can still see the plane here at the intersection of concord avenue and dimond boulevard. we spoke to a pilot who says it's a small community. everyone knows one another. and he knew the pilot who died. a sobering sight. a plane crashed in an intersection killing the pilot and injuring a person who was on the ground. alex williams says he could see the plane was in trouble as soon as it took off when he's going up, you can literally hear the plane stop install and then you hear him to pretty much try to turn it back on to hear the engine turn on again. >> and then it died again. and then went down the single engine. van's rv 6 crashed around 10, 30 tuesday morning at concord avenue. and dimond boulevard. the scene is about a half-mile from buchanan air field where the plane took off. >> at this point, investigators don't know what caused the crash. they also have not identified either the pilot or the person injure
