looking outside of the east bay hills skies above the east bay are nice and clear. but look at that. fog pressed right in there. we're seeing dense fog advisories across the north bay in gray. but we also have that for the east bay in the bay shore, too. so be mindful of it is a very thick this morning. it's going take a little extra time to drive through. we don't have anything in the way of radar. aside from that fog this morning, skies out there are going to remain clear and dry today. so there is no chance of rain fall into the afternoon. like i said, a day to take advantage of getting outside as much as you can. we're sitting with our temperatures right now. so no was at 43 degrees. berkeley at 46 as one of our few spots that's actually hanging on to the low 50's. and as we make our way into the afternoon day time highs will rise into the upper 50's to low 60's again, staying dry as we move through the day. now, as far as our roads are concerned, fog is definitely the biggest issue out there. let's start with a look at the bay bridge and back to the roads. we go

on the east bay.alleys are making your own fog and that has been the challenge for the past couple of days. so when we take a look at the north bay valleys, you can see the dense fog advisory in place for you. but also the inland east bay valleys have it today as well. until about 11:00 and you can see just a little bit of a southerly influence that's helping to pull the fog our way. let's take a look ahead at the storm coming our way now. in order to do that we'll switch back from the fog story and pull back the radar. the line of rain gets here by about the early afternoon that's more noticeable for us. we can time the arrival of that to around say 1:00, 2:00 today and then the better bands of rain will come through in time for your evening commute home. there's two sides to this storm. there's the widespread steady rain we're going to get today through the afternoon and evening and then there's the isolated scattered showers with the occasional thunderstorm that will come through on wednesday. so j
