and alameda county officers in the community of cherry land.gating after a 75 year-old man was hit and killed by a driver. so this happened tuesday night. this is on mission boulevard north of la some way. chp says the man was hit while in the standing outside of a crosswalk. he died at the scene. now they say alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in that crash. we've got some new details surrounding a shooting in kansas city after the chiefs super bowl parade radio station in kansas city says one of their host lisa lopez was killed in the shooting. police say in total, 22 people were shot 9 children between the ages of 6.15 were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds and are expected to recover. city officials and local authorities are responding to the violence. >> he went out today like everyone in kansas city looking to have a celebration. that celebration was marred by a shooting today. right now we do not have a motive. >> authorities say they recovered at least one weapon from the scene. 3 people have been taken into custody.
