joining us now, carol lam, former federal prosecutor, and paul henderson a veteran federal prosecutore there legitimate arguments to be made to dismiss this case? >> well, a lot of the arguments that donald trump's legal team has indicated they're going to file today are arguments that are rehashed that we've already seen in jack smith's other litigation. for example, presidential immunity now pending before the supreme court. so some of these arguments have already been made, some are going to be decided in short order so we're going to have to see exactly what they filed but one of the things they're going to file is a challenge even to the appointment of jack smith. they're going to say that the special counsel can't be appointed by just the attorney general. there has to be some sort of congressional approval. some of these issues have not made their way up to the supreme court, so again, this is a delay tactic that they are hoping to accomplish to put this trial off until after the november election, if at all. >> i was going to ask you if they were following the delay, delay, de

um, i'll defer to sarah hawkins because paul henderson seems to be out.h, chief scott and commission uh, deputy chief peter walsh, uh, of the administrator bureau. i'll be conducting the presentation, uh, with the assistance of officer duarte. um, for the sparks report. okay slide. thank you. um, i know that you know the history, but just for the public, uh, the sparks resolution 2706 requires quarterly reports from both sfpd and dpa. uh, and we provide the police commission with policy, uh, development awareness. currently, um, the status updates on 19 dgos are actively going through a developmental process, and approximately i should say, 71 department notices are set to expire within 120 days. and again, this is for the fourth quarter next slide. one of the um, more important dgos, uh, that we wanted to update is 7.01, which is, uh, juveniles. um, it's been posted for the 30 day public review process. it concluded in december 13th, 2023. um, we received 55 entries, uh, which wound up being about 40 comments and recommendations on the grid. seven of tho

commissioners executive director paul henderson and chief william scott, it's our honor to be here tonight to present the second quarter disciplinary review board. myself and chief of staff hawkins will be co-presenting today. we understand we are in the late hours, so we will get through this briefly. um, the second quarter display review board, convene. on august 28th for iads aggregate trends. there was a failure to report for duty at a mandatory overtime assignment, as well as failed to follow an email directives. these were specifically attached to the mandatory overtime wheel, which ended in november. uh and mid november. so that's resolved itself at and for dpa. the aggregate trends were failure to activate body worn camera and inappropriate language or comments. i'm just going to note that we're going to probably just speak because the slides are showing up, um, in a not user friendly format for reviewing on a screen. so we'll just we'll just talk. and then the third item that was touched on is the board really got into depth about what is the definition of aggregate trend. and you
