so this impeachment of terrence bradley on the sexual assault allegations by the state may judge mcafeeultimately say that he wanted to have further conversations with terrence broadly about whether his other conversations with nathan wade were in fact privileged. so that could really come back to bite the prosecution if it turns out that terrence bradley has some kind of information that is inconsistent with what the prosecution has put forward. with that said, however, it could be the case that the state thinks that terrence bradley, whatever information he has and is going to give judge mcafee, -- they might be concerned that he is not being honest about that information. and so they want to impeach his credibility by bringing up the fact that he had a falling out with nathan wade because of the circumstances surrounding this alleged sexual assault. so it could come back to bite the prosecution or it could be affective, it really all just depends on what happens in the private conversation between judge mcafee and terrence bradley. >> reporter: anna, i have to let you go sadly, i wan

elie, let me start with what you heard in today's testimony by terrence bradley. do you think that fani willis is in any trouble today based on his testimony, which i think what we just saw as two hours of preposterous, non-credible testimony from mr. bradley. mr. bradley is a lawyer. he's an officer of the court. he's testifying about events that are recent and important. and yet when it came to virtually anything of any substance, his response was, i don't recall or i was speculated let's understand how this person came onto the radar to begin with, he was asked by the defense lawyers in writing in a text, did the relationship between nathan wade and fani willis start before the da hired nathan wade and his answer in writing was quote absolutely. and then on his own, he offered up specifics about when and how they met he said they met at this particular cla continuing legal education conference. and today he said, well, i was speculating. that's ridiculous. why would you make up out of whole cloth some specific place where people met and when he was asked about,

terrence bradley's attorneys, and judge mcafee. that's it. no state present.ent. the reason why this meeting took place is late on friday towards the close of the evidence, terrence bradley on cross-examination admitted to the state of georgia that he had left the law partnership he shared with wade because of allegations he had sexually assaulted a law firm employee. it was terrence bradley accused of sexually assaulting a law firm employee, not nathan wade. now, the reason why it became so relevant and the need for this meeting today is because on direct examination when being asked questions by the defense attorneys in this case, he invoked the attorney client privilege and did not answer why he had left the partnership with nathan wade. so judge mcafee said you know, it seems mr. bradley, you may be a little bit confused about the scope of the attorney client privilege. so he said to bradley, i'm going to take you behind closed doors and we're going to explore what your understanding is of the attorney client privilege to make sure you have answered the qu
