it looks nice inland friday afternoon, mid- to upper 70s in the santa clara valley, similar inland in east bay, not quite a warm in fremont and redwood city, but still topping 70 degrees. it won't be that warm along the coast, 58 degrees half moon bay, 62 degrees in san francisco, very close to average, 67 degrees in oakland. in the north bay because of the more persistent fog, low 70s as opposed to mid- to upper 70s. the pollen count is going to continue climbing even though we have a stronger onshore breeze tomorrow. it's still in the medium high category and as temperatures warm back up by sunday and monday into the highest category possible for the pollen count, no rain in sight in the seven-day forecast. there are better chances a little farther down the line. the six to ten-day outlook advertises a decent chance of wetter than normal conditions by the end every next week. short term we still have warm weather, 80 degrees inland sunday and monday and a big drop in temperatures that kicks in monday to tuesday with cooler than average readings in store for the entire bay area by ne

we're using san jose as the representative of inland temperatures. we'll still be above average through the weekend. near the water temperatures return to near average. the weekend forecast does look dry and then we're back into kind of a cooler pattern by the middle of next week. let's look at the seven-day forecast. we'll start with those inland locations which will get up to around or a bit above 80 degrees wednesday, a couple degrees cooler thursday. those are the warmest days, wednesday and thursday, for the entire bay area. the warmth does continue inland through the weekend and at least to start next week. around the bay the warm-up isn't quite as noticeable, but it's here tomorrow, wednesday and thursday. then you're back to basically near average temperatures by friday, saturday, and sunday. along the coast the warm-up will be even more again meager in terms of how much temperatures bounce up, mid-60s, hard to complain in april with temperatures hovering right around 60 degrees the end of the workweek. after so many weekends in 2024 have bro

tomorrow a little milder from the bay to our inland valleys.hange at the coast and then as we get into the latter part of the upcoming workweek, we'll see temperatures continue to climb subtly, but we'll reach the 80s inland. there's a look at the winds 30 to 35 miles an hour by noontime, and they just continue to go up from there. they funnel into the bay so it will be breezy throughout the day today. but in your monday afternoon they get even stronger, 35 to 45 miles an hour, a little bit of a wind shift, but the winds are going to be with us all week long until another weather system replaces this one. so we will look for what we call a zonal flow. and that's going to allow for just that subtle warming trend. this is tuesday low 70s, mid 70s, even upper 70s by the sacramento valley. looking at near 80 inland for your wednesday finally coming up in the city. still breezy coastline but not as windy. and then by thursday, one of the warmest days, look at the low 80s from the north bay to san jose, mid 70s in oakland. even 70s in san francisco.

yeah but you know they had 80 in the inland valleys yesterday. but if you were anywhere close to the bay you're like it's over. and for some of us sooner in the morning hours. so as we look at live doppler seven right now, there is a system offshore and that is instigating all of that wind, that southerly wind that comes in with that southerly surge. that fog was down in monterey. and then boy, did it just screech all the way up through the bay and then the coast and then we all have it now, 54 in danville and napa, it is 57 in concord with low 50s in sonoma. so we are starting out on the bright side, a little bit milder. so 2 to 4 degrees milder for most of us, except in san jose. the coast is mild, but as we get through the afternoon, we're still going to have these winds right now up to 15 miles an hour in oakland. you can see higher than that out by the delta the next seven days, starting with tomorrow in oakland, will be in the mid 60s to low 60s. but as we get towards the weekend, temperatures will come up just a little bit to near average.

forecast highs are all around low 80s for, you know, the inland east bay. high pressure is building up of the east coast and temperatures are warming to the 80s inland, and that will set a trend. certainly does not say much in terms of fog. this is a futurecast that shows high clouds between now and tomorrow night. for tomorrow, for example, san jose will talk about in the low 80s run 4:00 in the afternoon and santa rosa, a nice warm day on tap. sunny morning right to 6:00 tomorrow night so plenty of sunshine is on the way. it will be a little bit warmer tomorrow. not much. by noon on monday, we get some low clouds beginning to thicken up on the shoreline. we will still be in the 80s inland on monday. but that will bring the numbers down. by then, in san francisco, we ramp up the chance of a few showers moving in over the city and for the rest of the bay area as well. so in the headlines, we have a weekend warming trend that will drive highs into the 80s inland. we will continue to call it down by the time we get to tuesday-thursday. overnight lows tonight

taking a look right now at 5.80, a little bit more inland area. things do look good livermore to dublin. only a 10 minute commute. but to avoid that, you could just take 6.80, either north or south and use 24 to get over to the other side. but we're going to see a lot of delays in that hayward area pretty much all morning. but giving you some drive times right now, crockett to the maze. 16 minute commute. walnut creek, 2, 5, 8, 11 minute commute. castro valley to the maze. 13 minute commute. stanley under to the maze. a 10 minute commute. taking a look at the bridges right now, the bay bridge from the maze over to fremont street. only an 8 minute commute. taking a look over at san mateo bridge. 14 minute commute on to the peninsula and moving north a little bit. richmond, sandra fell a seven-minute commute that golden gate bridge were not get not view right now, but it's only a 20 minute commute over that and also when it comes to that crash over in hayward, again, we do have a team on the way there to bring you some visuals, but it is a semi that
