. >> good afternoon president alexander-tut and members of the building inspection commission. patrick o'riordan,r of the department of building inspection. i want to follow-up on a item you heard last week about extending the existing awning amnesty program. we crunched numbers showing been extremely successful. between last september and the middle of june, 106 permits have been ./ completed and another 130 issued and just need inspections to be completed. in other words, 236 permits have been issued are completed through the program in the 10 months. that is just tremendous. th includes 60 of the original 187 complaints we 2022 and april 2023.percent of people who were original targeted and haof the program to legalize their awnings. that also means as we hope, 151 awning permits issued or rough the program were for properties that were not prior these original complaints. that is a successful prog one where we created incentives property owners resolve complaints, but one where they proactively address non complying conditions that lingered for years. i want to again thank
