removed the body of this young woman, ron ignacio valley road.way here in walnut creek, which is going to be shut down for quite some time. again, this is a horrific reminder why you should not drink and drive. the woman who died, she was 18 years old, according to police. walnut creek police tell me that around one this morning, the young woman was driving. a man also 18 years old, from pittsburgh, where they had been drinking. they were headed to the man's home in danville. she was going around 90 miles an hour, according to officer on the scene when she lost control, crossed the center divide and hit a power pole in the opposite direction of ignacio valley road. police say she was not wearing a seatbelt, ejected and died on the scene on the sidewalk. her passenger was wearing a seat belt, got out on his own, was taken to the hospital. he's expected to survive. he has since told police that he and the driver had been drinking before they got into the car again, the coroner has arrived already, took the body away waiting for this record to remov

as we take a look at that labor day weekend, let's look at napa valley. that's about as good as it gets this time of year, upper 70s and low 80s. if you're going to head up to tahoe, look at those temperatures. you don't have to worry about snow and numbers in the 70s and 80s, and we'll see that cooling trend for labor day weekend locally, as san francisco drops out of the mid 70s into the upper 60s with some morning clouds, and it doesn't look like any heat will be a problem for the holiday plans this weekend. you'll see that things start to cool down after midweek back into that comfortable range. as we move forward into next weekend and into september, september. and then people are going to start talking about hitting the slopes. there you go. that's what we like to talk about. we're going to tell you what some of the resorts are opening. i'll say what city hall insiders won't. we have a drug, homelessness, and economic recovery crisis, because the system that's supposed to fix things is the problem. record budgets. fewer officers. business killing bu
