bayside now inland, we're above 100 degrees from san jose. southward, the hottest temperatures of the north bay and the interior east bay could be between 105 to 110 degrees on tuesday. so wednesday also a close runner up for the hottest day of the week, still 80s and 90s bayside. and now thursday, though technically right now not part of the heat advisory, which goes through wednesday, you may see that extended for another day, because one of the trends we're noticing is that the temperatures are taking time to cool down, and the cooling that we do see later this week doesn't look as significant as we had this weekend. so here's the culprit unusually strong high pressure, which will likely lead to the hottest temperatures of the year for bayside locations. as we head into friday. one item to watch mid level moisture coming up out of the south right now may see thunderstorms popping up around the sierra, but that might bring some temporary cooling. combined with a few coastal low clouds as we head into the weekend. so again, here's a look at

we've got 80s and 90s bayside, so warmer bayside tuesday than the high temperatures inland tomorrow, 90 to 100 degree temperatures inland. this is tuesday. similar look to wednesday. maybe not quite as hot around downtown san francisco as we lose that offshore breeze component. but tuesday, wednesday, and thursday, areas like concord and livermore likely stay in those upper 90s to near 100 degree temperatures. so three days will be in this heat. little hint of cooling here on the coast by thursday. but for more significant cooling, probably going to have to wait until friday and saturday. notice san francisco if we do get to the mid 80s around downtown, that would be the warmest day of the year. tuesday. then temperatures level off for the weekend and the valley certainly will heat up again. that's what we say. you just can't miss the change tuesday. it's as soon as you step outside. you're going to feel it. by the weekend though, the sea breeze does return, so hopefully the fog time lapse we're seeing right now could see it again next weekend as we cool off those temperatures in the

let's show you some of the temperatures around the bay area bayside, inland valleys trending a little bit cooler, but there's a big exception to the rule here that jumps out. look at livermore. still 101 degrees. no real change across interior portions of the tri-valley, but we're seeing the cooling around the inner bay san francisco, 66 degrees 85, in san jose. but look at concord up to 96 degrees now currently in san jose, 65 not seeing much in the way of low clouds, 64 in walnut creek. so our nighttime temperatures are trending a little bit cooler. 55 in san rafael, you can see a little bit of the fog and low clouds as you head south towards the bay and into san francisco, 56 degrees with lots of low clouds. right over downtown. we're seeing mostly 50s and 60s bayside, as we have those onshore winds ongoing that will bring in the low clouds across the bay into the interior valleys for the morning, and then more sunshine as we head into the afternoon. so the morning again begins with 50s and 60s. and just like we saw today, interior valleys south of san jose, as you get into the coy
