but along the way, while she is corresponding with betty in letters and in visits, she introduces betty into all sorts of ideas. she betty tells her strange things have been happening. but you've been hearing sounds and seeing kind of odd lights in the sky. and marjorie fish tells her that the cia might be watching her. she tells her that ghosts are real. she describes a poltergeist investigation that she was involved in. she introduced betty to writers who had for what has now become famous thanks to the history channel of the concept of ancient aliens, that ancient civilizations were actually founded by extraterrestrial laws. and betty absorbs of this and she comes. i think what's so important to betty here is that she comes to see a world and to experience a world that had meaning. a world in which everything is connected, where there are no coincidence, as in a world, i think critically for betty, where her husband's sudden death might actually have some meaning. at one point betty encounters a channeler who channels her and her husband spiritual. and this is a very meaningful exper

and betty picked that up. you know, betty ford also was very public about wanting a woman on supreme court. there were women ambassador was painted appointed during the ford administer nation. so, you know, she took and ran with it, too. and once again, i think it goes back to what she said, cleveland, and why she was supporting. she wanted women of all types to be able to do what they wanted to do. and in the speech, she also talked about the fact that we needed to remove the word just from in front of housewives. yes that was important you are not just that is a career in and of itself and really foreshadowed speech that barbara bush gave at wellesley where she said women should be able to make. and then hillary clinton went to beijing and had the same language. but language was first. and betty ford's. 1975 speech and she the doors for us to look at being able to make decisions so to have openness to be able to choose career choose to be at home and not be criticized for the choices that she made. hmm. and

in san francisco, betty yu, ktvu, fox two news. >> well, a big day set for oakland tomorrow as the city considers cuts to staff and services. tomorrow, the oakland finance and management committee is set to discuss the status of the city's contingency budget activation and address the current fiscal challenges. the meeting comes on the heels of the new, revised timeline for the oakland coliseum deal. that new deal raises the sale price of the city's share of the coliseum, from 105 to $125 million, but it does change the timing of the payments. city leaders say budget cuts need to be made, although it's still unclear what cuts and when. and oakland mayor shengtao will deliver her annual state of the city address tomorrow. this will be the mayor's second state of the city. this year's speech comes as the mayor faces a recall election next month, and an ongoing federal investigation. the mayor is set to give her address in the city council meeting, which begins at 330 tomorrow afternoon. >> also tomorrow, crime survivors say they're going to be rallying against proposition 36 in oakland. n
