mary anne, very busy day on campus. it certainly was. there were hundreds of people here on campus supporting israel. they held a memorial earlier today to honor those who lost their lives on the hamas attack on israel. one year ago today. now, another thing they did is they created kites with messages of peace. and the reason they did that is because on this very day back in israel last year, israelis were creating kites to messages of peace. but because of the attack, many of the people that were planning that celebration were killed and they weren't able to hold it. so that's why they did hold the kite celebration here on campus. now, these students are also calling for the return of the remaining hostages in israel and calling for peace in the middle east as they gather today. i know you got to speak with a number of people out there today, mary anne, including a woman from israel. yes. i met a woman named shavar levi. she's not a student at san jose state, but she came down to support, be honoring the people here today. and honoring
