bay commute is nice and quiet this morning, and if you're driving on 680 out of pleasanton towards sunol into san jose. 519 let's talk about today's weather and here's steve. >> all right sal thank you sir. we'll get right to it. here we had some records yesterday. we'll start though with the one that is preliminary data. that's the marin county civic center, which tends to run a bit too warm. we saw this about a month ago, and i think the data was tossed. so until it's confirmed by the national climate data center. but the old record was 104. 1980 santa rosa in town, kentfield and san jose. i certainly believe those 102, 100 and also 100. the city hit 94 yesterday. that's the first time they've hit 90 or above since october 19th, 2022. the average high is 71 for this time of year. the record high for today is 96. in 1980, it was 97 yesterday in 1980. so they fell three degrees short. the air aloft is just nutty. i mean, to go 90 degrees northeast at 14. that's that's right above the claremont. and at around the caldecott tunnel. that is unbelievably hot. and boulder creek, i've seen abo
