let's go to lyme regis in dorset, this is down there on the coast. you can see all of the coast. can see all of the boats are there in the harbour, they are not braving those conditions. you can see just about through that haze that the winds are causing those waves to come in and we have seen a few people walking around there, but you can see all of those small vessels that often would be out are not, but a lot of people believing going down onto the beach there, the camera is around to give us an idea of what is going on there in lyme regis. those boats all covered up. let us go further down into the south—west, and this is cornwall. again, you can see the wind is causing those waves and the conditions there. we already know that there. we already know that there have been winds up to 67 miles per hour in the isles of scilly and also parts of devon. the wind is the issue, but as i mentioned, the amber warnings for snow are in the north—east of scotland. let's take you to scotland, this is the live picture from edinburgh at the moment and you can see there are some children out

this is lyme regis in dorset.e were talking about the snow, but it is the wind that will hit the western side of england. we have already had gusts reaching 67 mph at st mary's in the isles of scilly. also berry head in devon. the winds could strengthen further through the day, reaching well into 70 mass per hour. so, that is the scene at lyme regis. let's go now to cornwall, where you can see the waves are coming in and the winds are producing these waves. i certainly would not want to be going out in any sort of small boat or vessel from there in cornwall. that is where we are keeping an eye today on the winds. as i say, gusts of up to 70 mph expected later. we have already had 67 mph recorded at st mary's in the scilly islands. and also bury head. in yorkshire, this is the same. it is a very snowy there in north yorkshire, as we saw earlier. this is where there has been quite a lot of snow already. some of those roads have been closed. there are a lot of warnings. we have been looking at some of the traffic cam

you drive through the cotswolds, devon, dorset, it is hardly deprivation.lk to the countryside and there are tractors, six, seven, eight disused cars, oil spilling everywhere, plastic. a lot of farmers don't look after the land. where were the farmers when the mines closed? nowhere. they were out there, ignoring what was going on around them. and then finally, look what happened when tony blair was elected. the farmers came out on the streets, they blocked the roads, protesting against so—called fuel, when it was just a political gesture because they didn't like the banning of fox hunting. in a way, i think labour are just of fox hunting. in a way, i think labour arejust getting of fox hunting. in a way, i think labour are just getting revenge of fox hunting. in a way, i think labour arejust getting revenge now. they bided their time, 11 or 12 years, and now farmers are getting hit, and my heart is bleeding! laughter well, who wants to respond? i will. i think well, who wants to respond? i will. i think that — well, who wants to respond? i will. i think tha
