it happened last thursday morning around 10 at the supportive housing building on bryant street across from the hall of justice. the complex is home to people who are formally unsheltered, according to the san francisco district attorney's office. 49 year-old monique davis punch someone multiple times inside the elevator. prosecutors say davis then grabbed a pistol from her room when down to the lobby and opened fire. a social worker was shot in the face. another person was shot in the arm. police arrested davis about a mile away mercy housing partners with this couple community service is the executive director, beth stokes released a statement saying in part our thoughts and prayers go out to the ecs and mercy staff who were grievously injured by this senseless act of violence. ecs will do everything in our power to support the victims, their families, our staff and our residents. as we navigate these challenging circumstances. stokes also says their top priority is the safety and well-being of residents and staff abram says mercy housing put out a notice to residents. center. >> pap
