starting tonight, caltrans is closing eastbound highway 37. that's between highway 121 in sonoma county and railroad avenue in vallejo for road repairs. the closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. monday through saturday. all month that stretch of road will be open saturday and sunday nights. well, after months of delays, commercial crab season is finally open for business. fishermen in san francisco were out along piers 45 and 47. there's that latest catch on sunday of that dungeness crab. typically, the commercial season starts in mid-november, but migrating whales delayed the start to january 5th. one fisherman says those challenges still remain. >>>>we lost our thanksgiving markets. you know, i mean, officially, you can still open up. but, you know, a lot of us would like to see some of that stuff back. there's a lot of nice crab, but, you know, it's kind of a little bit slow, slow than what we're used to. and on top of that, we're. >>>>well, fishermen say there are still some whales out, so they have to be very careful with their gea
