thank you, kristina. chris, would you add anything to the significance of what you just heard. >> it's something, luckily, we've spoken about it before, if you go back in the last generation, about two years ago, qualcomm did supply almost all of the chips for samsung phones, over the last year and the last generation of '24, their share dropped to about 75%. the reason why the share is going higher because of samsung's own difficulty getting their leading edge manufacturing business on par where tsmc is. qualcomm is a beneficiary because they pick up those sokts and qualcomm does those chips at tmsc. the share of 24 last year's phone is about 75%. >> intel is struggling with its boundary. what's the takeaway here. >> all roads go to tsmc. tsmc has a big advantage. samsung is still trying to get there, which is equivalent of where tsmc is to get that working. it's not yielding high enough, we believe, they had to make that difficult decision to kind of shelf their internal product. >> chris, thanks. appre

kristina partsinevelos is here with those details. kristina? amd's presser is still ongoing. first, you had qualcomm earlier this morning, launching their ai pc, and amd is joining the mix. amd's next ai pc would be called the rise in ai max processer. it's an ai chip for portable devices like laptops. amd saying there's going to be over 150 computer designs available, with oems, those are original equipment manufacturers, lick lenovo, for example. outpacing what qualcomm said earlier today, they have 100 designs. i am seeing online, some questioning about the lack of ceo presence from lisa sue. but we have to keep in mind, this event and this speech was already planned of the svp present. it shouldn't be a big surprise to a lot of investors. let's get back to the amd news. they're announcing their first of ever commercial expansion with dell. that means bringing the amd. there's a lot of names here. the rise in ai pro processor. think of it as an ai chip. this is a new partnership for them. lastly, amd unveiling new gaming desktop processors.

kristina, good to see you, thank you. >> thank you. >> kristina partsinevelos. >> great having her here. starting the year off -- i haven't seen you in awhile. >> long time. happy new year. >> you know i hate that. >> you have it for another day or two. >> jensen, he does an amazing job, saying what the market wants to hear and i guess it's about 4 1/2 hours from now, 6:30 pacific time is when he speaks. obviously learn a lot more. so, i'm not concerned about what he's going to say. my concerns continue to be the same thing. now it's a stock that's trading north of 18 times revenue, which historically is probably twice the valuation companies like this deserve. at a certain point, they're not going to enjoy the 76% margins they enjoy, and competition is coming. the price action over the last, and chris can speak to this, since that 128-ish low, has been extraordinary. and here we are at all-time highs. >> well, guy, we have to remember, this is a stock that all the price progress came in the first six months of the year. only 8% growth came after june. this has been a long consolidation

so, kristina said, data centers are 88%, gaming is at 10%. so, if you look at that, why are we concentrating on gaming and pcs that are a very small piece of the pie, and not the growthy areas? >> to be fair, this is a keynote at the consumer electronics show. the keynote would have been tailored for that. >> client-side stuff. a much smaller part of their business. i think that's exactly who the audience is. they probably loved the jacket there, that's the kind of people that show up there. >> vegas. >> i think you get people to, it's great to point out the charts, i think, in fact, we all would think about 2025 trying to look through the lens of what happened in '24. first three months of the year of '24 were all about semis. i think it's going to be another great year for semiconductors. i think it's a year where we're going to see the broadening of that semiconductor trade. we started to see that even with broadcom, as we got into the last couple weeks of the year. the trading action here is something to be worried about, especially when

our biggest is make energy, a single asset producer in kristina lake, they produce what they call heavyavy crude which is where you literally steam up the tar and you get oil out of it. so, that is a pretty common process of there, that is the kind of oil we are talking about, it is not sweet crude that we have in the permian. the other name down there is jeff kona, independent producer. the canadian producers, like imperial, they are a little bit less affected. so if the spread is blown out between wti and western canada select oil, those refiners get to buy the oil cheaper and if gasoline prices don't get tariffs, they will collect more margins. so, we are all under the heading of, if you say it, it is like christ said it, it becomes red letter version of king james. the problem is, what actually will play out might be different. we love how people are leading the securities because the idea of trump and anything he says, it is like sugar, spice, and everything nice. it just sounds wonderful right now. the question is what will actually happen. security markets are moving far quicker

kristina partsinevelos joins us here on set for all the highlights from the conference call christinastruments signaling a continued challenges in auto and industrial chip markets. and this is just from the earnings call. over 70% of their revenues actually stems from these two sectors, with management stating, quote, we haven't seen the start of a cyclical growth yet in industrial across all geographies. the automotive landscape, very similar, shows a stark geographical. geographical divide. chinese auto sales grew, with higher ev content likely boosted by the stimulus package. but this growth really didn't offset, quote, significant weakness in other markets. also, personal electronics, representing roughly 20% of revenues, saw mid-single digit growth in q4. but management warns of, quote, a significant decline in q1, of course, due to seasonality. the ceo also warning gross margin profit, which is a measure of profitability, will decrease a few hundred basis points as they manage inventory and reduce the utilization rate of their manufacturing facilities. the stark message, though,
