abc seven news weather anchor spencer christian is here with your new year's new year's eve forecast. spencer, unlike new york, it's not raining here. but will we see the fireworks? >> dan i think we will. you know, we had quite a bit of cloud cover tonight, but it was mainly really high clouds and now they're thinning out a bit. check this out. here's the forecast animation starting at 1030. notice that by 11 we'll see more clearing. fewer clouds, 1130. even clearer still. and that pattern continues right on through that midnight hour when we expect to see the fireworks. so i think that we have a good chance of having good viewing conditions. meanwhile, later tonight after the fireworks are over, of course, frost advisory in effect for many of the inland valleys and the hills of the bay area until 9:00 tomorrow morning, temperatures dropping down to about 3233 degrees in the coldest locations. i'll give you a closer look at that and the accuweather seven day forecast for the new year coming our way in just a few minutes. >> dan, it is here. thanks, spencer very much. on the peninsula
