we got your view from mount tam looking down the bay. also, crystal clear now it depends a lot how strong your winds are impacting how your temperatures have gotten spots like half moon bay, which are very breezy, are actually are more mild areas up in the berkeley hills. it's also quite mild right now due to some strong winds. but those calmer areas right along the bay shore and up in the north bay. that's where you're seeing are cold temps double in palo alto conquered as well as santa rosa in petaluma all down in the 30's right now. take a look at berkeley, though. you're at 60 degrees and a very windy in berkeley right now. so the direct correlation between those 2 factors adding up to quite a variety in temperatures. we do have frost advisories in the in the north and east bay. those will be in effect through 09:00am this morning in mostly for those lower elevations where winds are generally calmer. as for temperatures 60's to a lot more 70's on the map today. if you thought yesterday felt warm, well, get ready for today right now.

so i'm standing atop mount tam taking a look here. we've got clouds and we have a little bit of blue sky that's been trying to peek through 2, but the clouds. >> our kind of winning in spots. and as we get into the evening, you can see they will break up a little bit, but we are going to have the return of that marine layer in the overnight hours, which leads to waking up to a very similar situation that we woke up to today. kind of cloudy skies out there and visibility being reduced in some spots. but right now, last couple of hours, you can see where that marine layer, he's really pullbacks. that's why we're getting a little bit of a break and a few pops of sunshine out there. hopefully you're one of the spots of seeing those blue skies and you can see that the relays really been kind hugging the coast of california all day today. now we did have a chilly night again last night, but it wasn't quite as cold as the night before. and it does look like tonight won't be quite as bad either. but, know, we certainly have plenty of 30's out
