first of all, this is affecting the bart lines. bart sent out this picture. want to show you about the vehicle that is on and into the tracks just off highway four. notice the cement divider on the other side of the vehicle. there's one on either side of the tracks dividing the freeway itself by these tracks itself, and that's why they have to continue to keep the bar off line through the area between antioch and north concord. as a result, until they can clear those tracks, the deadly crash itself is eastbound highway four at bailey. there are a couple of lanes blocked right now, but westbound as you commute with the big slowing distracted by all the activity on the bart tracks itself, and this may be another couple of hours until the coroner even gets there, we're told by chp. so again, no bart yellow line service between antioch and north concord. highway four is open, but the westbound commute is distracted with additional slowing. the rest of the east bay, contra costa county, alameda county, and the north bay highway 37 all holding pretty standard there

it went over the center divide, landed on the bart tracks. and so that is impacting bart service. this morning. trains are stopped between north concord, martinez and antioch stations so you can get bus service through county connections. guys. >> gloria. thank you. breaking overnight, a brush fire in southern california that started alongside a busy freeway is now thankfully out. the sepulveda fire started late last night off interstate 405, in bel air. the fire burned 40 acres and prompted evacuation warnings. our sister station in la had its helicopter over the fire, their reporter said. a chp helicopter was circling the area looking for a possible arson suspect. >> they are searching. they are scouring the area. we know that's what they are searching for. we do not know what prompted that search. if there was an actual report or more information that they are going on, but there is a chp aircraft up here looking for any sign of that arson suspect. >> red flag warnings for critical fire risk have been extended to tomorrow morning across la and ventura counties. firefighters are

bart is now the target of a new lawsuit last year. a 74 year old was allegedly pushed in front of a moving bar traded. she died from her injuries. a person has been charged in her death and her family is now speaking out. kron four's terisa stasio is live for us in san francisco with this story. >> well, just and the family says that bart is putting lives at risk and that is why they are taking this action. >> and expressed the amount of hurt. that my family has gone through. that is the nephew, of course, owned and down the 74 year-old daly city resident shown here. >> was known as a generous, compassionate woman who loved to cook for her colleagues and care for her family members. but on july first 2024 5 minutes after dan dan left her job asea telephone operator park hilton hotel and downtown san francisco. the family says that she was pushed from the platform at the powell street bart station and later died of her injuries. it's not just him. >> there's a lot of people out there. >> cool. >> it's just circling that train station.

we reached out to bart that they did not have a comment about the lawsuit in san francisco. theresa kron. 4 news. >> we now know the name of the victim who was killed in a 7 car crash in san francisco's soma neighborhood. police say 27 year-old mikael romany and co died at the scene near 6th and harrison streets on sunday evening. and this happened after police say a 66 year old. gln jang crashed into multiple cars. 8 people were injured. 2 of the victims are still being treated for life-threatening injuries. a dog inside one of the cars also died at the scene and an unoccupied waymo was involved in the crash. the company says that its car was hit by a tesla going nearly 100 miles per hour and that tesla driver, the 66 year-old has been arrested for multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter. a 17 year-old who was killed in a car crash in livermore has been identified. the coroner's office is confirming daniel hernandez alvarado was a student at a foothill high school. was this victim of the solo car crash that happened earlier this month. police say he was inside a
