. >>> reminder, abc newslive has >> janai: a reminder abc newslife now has weekend programming. >> gioefully whit is back. >> janai: yes, whit. >> gio: get better. c7 news starts right now. >> good morning, i'm stephanie sierra. the san francisco medical examiner says there was no foul play in an open i whistleblower's death last november. in an official report released just yesterday, the examiner's office ruled the death a suicide. 26 year old. his death sparked a flood of conspiracy theories alleging he was assassinated for agreeing to testify against the company in a lawsuit. his parents believe their son had been murdered, and they sued the city to release his records. the santa cruz wharf and nearby beaches are expected to reopen today. you may recall a 150 foot section of the wharf collapsed right before christmas day. it reopened last month and the city does not appear to be rebuilding it. just yesterday, governor newsom. just declared a state of emergency which will free up resources to help with recovery efforts. all right. let's check on conditions outside. good morning. lis
