my name is brianna morales with the housing action coalition as their s.f. organizer and i am here to speak in support of the amendments proposed by supervisor sauder particularly because it enables projects like the the sutter project to move forward. >> we appreciate the supervisors leadership and work in advancing housing policies that expand our housing opportunities and recognize that these things come with a lot of complexities. so we're eager to see projects like this move forward to bring more homes to san francisco and more neighbors to our community. the sauder the sutter project will bring 303 new homes 33% affordable and that's something that we really want to see move forward. not to mention it also comes with a child care facility and a lot of pedestrian improvements. >> so it represents the type of transit thinking and thoughtful planning that we really desperately need. it also does it in a lot of creative ways that maximize state funding to build affordable housing without relying on san francisco dollars which is a rare and valuable opportu
