rediscover the city. you can spend as time you want and you don't have to make reservations and it's important to be free because we want them to develop a love for cable cars so they do continue to support whether they live here or other places and people come in and say, yes, i have passed by and heard of this and never come in and they always enjoy themselves. people love cable cars and there's none left in the world so if you want to ride a cable car, you've got to come to san francisco. that what makes the city. without the cable cars, you lose part of that, you know, because people who come here and they love it and they love the history ask they can ride a cable car that has been running since 1888 or 1889. wow! that's something. can't do that with other historical museums. rarely, have i run into anybody from outside who didn't come in and didn't feel better from knowing something about the city. it's a true experience you'll remember. i hope they walk away with a greater appreciation for the hist

city. however, we are not currently seeing those projects move forward at the scale or the pace that we need. from the beginning of my time here my office has worked with the office of economic and workforce development and the department of planning or planning department to identify policy options to support these projects and we have identified three main city imposed costs that are holding them back. the city's real estate transfer tax which was waived by proposition c last march. property taxes which the city can now begin to address under the recent state legislation ab 242 2488 by our own assemblymember ting. and the city's inclusionary housing requirements and impact fees which is what this ordinance seeks to address. this ordinance would help lower those costs by waiving impact fees including inclusionary housing requirements for downtown office to housing conversion project projects. i believe this waiver is appropriate for this targeted set of projects. commercial to residential

the city is good about accommodations some cities are not. and so there are positives and negatives. i think everybody is assuming they are doing their job exists but there are struggles this exist. and pointses we have to get through and over. for one example, recently with the worker's comp issue it is who to ask which teejs reach out to i did not know how to answer it is not local and so how we provide accommodations. it is hard to gnaw information out and find out what that is asked for. and the antiableism training that is great that should be added for all staff to learn to show the diversity here and that's one part. second part is that i'm looking at the identification is tough. because -- you have to think about it and you have to be comfortable and i'm thinking separate from work because it is difficult. -- if the supervisors good about the staff and reaching out for nev.eds and accommodating that is positive and at work. physical disabilities that need that, things like this if you expanded on this more to talk to supervisor busy t
