sandra fell bridge over to marin county.it at the toll gate whatsoever. and our final stop, the golden gate bridge. you're southbound 1, 1, right. 20 minutes to get from nevado down across the bridge and into san francisco. all right. let's get back the headlines it up in the north bay. it doesn't. homes are currently under evacuation warnings following a landslide that occurred. this is the area that includes homes that were rebuilt after the wine country fires back in 2017. so here's video from the air taken by santa rosa fire. the it shows the homes there on deer creek trail in santa rosa. initially, 17 homes were tagged put under this evacuation order from the county. 2 of those homes have been red tagged out, right? which means residents can't go back at all. >> we issued an evacuation warning to 12 houses in that area your >> road work court. so there are under an evacuation warning. and, you know, county officials monitoring the soils. and, you know, we're just we're hoping that nothing else happens and just stays as

angeles county fires. the fair plan is a pool that all major insurers pay into and it's designed to provide temporary coverage. but in the wake of the devastating fires, more people are relying on it now than ever. and officials say the pool is expecting a loss of 4 billion dollars. state officials announced this week that all insurers doing business in the state. we'll have to take on half of the cost of bailing out the fair plan and they are allowed to pass on some of that burden to policyholders in the form of fees. some lawmakers are sounding the alarm, though, on this move, saying it will impact everyday californians who do already have home insurance. >> because that band-aid is coming up. the cost of homeowners. another assessment is coming. another rate hike is coming. californians are really put in a position right now that we're just triage ing. we need real solutions. and this is >> california insurance commissioner ricardo, lara said in a statement, quote, i took this necessary consumer protect

county. but what will bring us the rain? still a bit farther here offshore and the timing still looks to be mid morning. starting off in the north bay around 8 a.m. to 9 a.m, and then the chance of essentially heavy drizzle at times, and some light rain showers around the central bay from 11 a.m. to about 1 p.m. towards the santa cruz mountains. and then by 5:00, we begin to see those partly cloudy skies. not a lot of rain expected with this. as you can see, the dark blue on this map would be about a 10th of an inch of rain or less. so it's the lighter blue. if you look closely, you see some of that there on the coast there in marin county and northwestern sonoma county. and it's possible a few areas may not get any measurable rainfall as the system as it weakens moving out of the region. now, let's jump forward to the three day outlook that takes us from friday into the weekend. notice how friday's temperatures now upper 60s across those inland areas. if you got saturday plans or trying to m

a flood watch in marin and sonoma counties remains in effect until tomorrow. let's bring in meteorologist paul heggen. >> the showers will be intermittent the rest of this evening and keeps the flood threat pretty low, not zero, but low. wind is something else to watch this evening. let's get into the radar replay of how this system has shaped up the last 12 hours. we'll start with that radar replay at 6:00 this morning when some of the heaviest rain was just offshore. that came surging in around 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 this morning. after that moved east, what we've seen for the most part is light to moderate rainfall, the breaks in the action, but the rain hasn't been intense enough or prolonged enough to really heighten our flooding threat the past several hours. that's likely to remain the case through the rest of this evening. this is the current radar view which shows just scattered showers, a lot of breaks in between. let's look at futurecast through 8:00 tomorrow morning. it's the scattered pattern that will help us out. where the downpours occur, they won't
