i didn't know anything about cte until i was told i was going to do this interview.er disorder. can you tell us what that is? >> yeah. so our bodies make creatine naturally. you know, most people think of creatine for bodybuilders or for high performance athletes. but our bodies make it. it gets into the blood. but for lucas, it travels through the blood to the brain. but the brain doesn't have the transporter to take it into, into his brain. so his brain doesn't get the energy it needs to function, develop, and thrive. and so he is not your everyday seven year old, cognitively delayed. developmentally delayed is prone to seizures, low muscle tone. and currently there's no treatment. but we're. or. this is why we're rushing. this is why we're going across california. we're on a quest to change it. and i think with with everybody's support, i think we'll get there. >> jeff, i have to ask you this because you have a son who needs you at home. and you won the 10 million. it all turned out well. but at some point when you were doing this, did you ever ask yourself, ask y

cte, the neurodegenerative disease caused repeated concussions. it caused his mind to break down trapping him in a hellscape couldn't wake from. over time, it got harder and harder for daniel to distinguish between his family from what his family would recognize as reality and the nightmare in his mind that he couldn't escape. and that nightmare, daniel, was confronted with enemies. they told him that he had a choice to make. either he kill himself or if he chose to live his family be murdered for than a year he lived under the threat. over and over he reached for rationality telling himself it wasn't real. and even though he was receiving an input in his mind, it wasn't true. but it got harder. and harder to separate truth from the nightmare. as his brain continued to break down, in the end, he lost his ability. recognize that threat to his family. that is the threat to his family only existed in his living delusional nightmares. he believed that everyone he was in imminent peril and. only he could save us. daniel was always an active journalist.

i think the only i believe most of these are positions well but if you look at two it's like slam cte grant funded specific resources discretionary funds. >> so it's like the source of the funding not the so you're correct so the slam cte is actually talking about the fte that you would allocate allocated for for librarians arts and p.e. so those are fte. but you're right is like when we the other way that we've also showed this is the whether the funding is discretionary you know like you're saying fungible with resources versus fte so the pyramid doesn't quite pull that out. so the additional student services is that those are all fte is those would be reflected in in school sites budget as an fte allocation the number of aps you receive the noon monitors and things like that same thing with the vgs the base staffing and you are correct on the right side or my right it the only one that sort of is mixing resources with fte is the slam the sports library arts and music but that's the p f slam moneys that comes over to a site as an fte then the grant funded is going to be a resource b

prioritize student mental health a number 75000 people are starting their own course through vo-tech and cteses, that is 3500 more than before but there's still work to do before we can say that we have met our constitutional obligation pretty the budget continues the path we set out asher my investing an additional $526 million to advocacy formula.
