i greatly appreciate your insights on the farm economy, and i'm happy to see my fellow illinoian and corn grower mr. weinzierl here today. you mentioned that you believe that premium rates in illinois for corn are too high. what can we do as congress to help ensure the risk management agency is able to balance the cost from providers while maintaining enough premium in the risk for the cover losses from catastrophic events like the drought in 2012 that drove the loss ratio for corn in illinois to over six? mr. weinzierl: thank you, congressman. we have made adjustments trying to lower our risk. you mentioned what i would say is an 80-year drought in 2012. what we noticed on our farm, and we had substantial losses on the corn, is our corn soybeans we had no loss. our continuous corn, we did. after that we changed our crop rotation trying to insulate ourselves and l -- and lower our risk. if that will help to the degree of another drought of that magnitude we won't know. if it is an 80-year drought, i will be there. -- i won't be there. we look at ways to reduce that. we had a lot of r
