i'm jana katsuyama. we begin tonight with the weather. another round of wet rain is moving through the bay area tonight, as you can see. and already it is causing problems and safety concerns in the north bay. a large tree fell and damaged an elementary school today. the santa rosa fire department posted this video of a tree that toppled at steele lane elementary school. fire crews say the tree fell this morning at about 11:30 a.m. fortunately, nobody was hurt, but the tree did cause damage to a building at the school. the city of santa rosa says it is offering support to the school while the cleanup is underway. and in san francisco, the rain and wind gusts have prompted several parks to close. stern grove and pine lake both closed at 3:00 this afternoon. the parks department says they plan to keep both sites closed until their staff can conduct safety inspections. the parks department says that people should be on the lookout at other parks, as strong wind gusts can bring down limbs and cause even healthy trees to topple. and with that,
