it's over areas of lake county and farther north. few sprinkles reported over lake county at this point, but this is going to be sinking into the bay. looks like late afternoon, early evening. right now. it looks like it will not impact the central and south bay for the afternoon commute. tomorrow is going to be a different story, and i'll show you that here in just a moment. this is going to be tapping into colder air as this continues to sink south. we are looking at cooler breezy storm. and then thursday into friday, even colder storm and snow levels will be dropping. here's a look at the futurecast model picking it up for you this afternoon 5:00. so we now have some rain for lake county as well as in the north bay. but six 7:00 it looks to kind of hold steady just above the golden gate bridge, just above i-80. can't rule out a few sprinkles, but most of the wet weather looks like it's going to begin to slide in during the evening hours. and then tomorrow morning we're going to start out with scattered showers, and it will pick up

county. we're gonna take it out to lake tahoe where you can see we've got white caps on the lake. we are under a lake wind advisory there. they've been dealing with some snow. also wind happening down at the surface here about 31 miles per hour. you can see the temperatures are in the 40's now down in the surface. but we did have snow in the overnight and you're taking a live look at china peak. this was covered in snow earlier. they've cut since kind of clean some of that off. but if you take your eye back here, you can still see where some of that pressure snow has fallen and more on the way. in fact, a bigger system on the way for them as we've got cold air behind the system that's pushing through right now. some of the time we get to thursday, we're talking some pretty big snow totals. still to come. so you can see we're under the winter weather advisory and parts of northern california and then in tahoe were under the warning. so this system was rsthe second sy though, the colder system coming on thursday into friday, 2 to 4 feet of additional snow headed towards the sierra.
