enjoy tonight because later this week our lows are going to be dropping back into the 30s and low 40s. cloudy skies in san jose over in dublin 54 degrees. mostly cloudy skies. still a few light rain showers nearby. you're still seeing more of that in san rafael at 55 degrees and san francisco. some low clouds out there, 57 degrees. our storm ranger mobile doppler radar picking up on some of those light rain showers. but throughout the weekend it was the north bay that had the top rain totals. but it was the north coast heading up to chico and redding. that is where the core of the plume of the atmospheric, river boosted event has kind of stalled out for the weekend. this offshore will start to make its way towards the bay area during the day tomorrow. so as you wake up tomorrow morning, the last of the mild mornings, waking up to mid 50s, we'll see highs under mostly cloudy conditions similar to what we had today. upper 50s and low 60s in and around the central bay and close to 60 in san jose, but increasing rain 3:00 in the afternoon for areas north of san francisco. so here's a look

that low hanging cloud coverage and fog.s making its way directly over the northern part of san francisco. which is where our studio is right now. now we will continue to push a little bit further south throughout our morning hours but again as you can see, the heaviest rain that is in green and darker green, that's across our north bay communities. that's how it's going to be over the next 34 to 36 hours. north bay communities are going to be getting in on the majority of the action. that doesn't mean the rest of the bay area is out of the clear. because we do have flood watches in effect as there is the potential for some heavier rain and especially in our low-lying areas that are used to flooding. you're likely going to be seeing it over the next several days. this atmospheric river is going to persist all the way through tuesday of next week. we're going to continue to see widespread rain. but it's kind of overplaying it. it's going to be that low hanging mist and fog rather than the heavier rainfall. the heavier rainfal
