i'm jonny moseley, your host for the day.ee what kind of weather we'll get into. >> the snow line was pretty high in elevation with this latest series of storms, but the sierra resorts still picked up a nice amount of fresh snowfall this week. these are the new snow numbers over the last 24 hours. a lot of people will head up there to take advantage of the fresh powder. the weather looks great this weekend. be ready for crowds, but road conditions are improving. we'll seem lots of sunshine with low temperatures in the teens and highs in the 20s and 30s and there's more snow on the way next week as well, wednesday, thursday and friday bringing a few more feet of snow to the mountains. we'll keep you updated here in the toyota tahoe report. >>> in what can only be described as completely random and a little weird, a grocery store in new jersey is celebrating the super bowl by hosting its own super bowl-themed look alike contest. this is the stu leonard's. they had their philly fever event. they do something like this every year

. >>> jonny moseley here. the toyota is loaded up and ready to carve some new lines. are you?ther nature cooked up for us. the toyota tahoe report is cued up. let's take a look. >> typical february snow conditions combined with april temperatures, sounds like a pretty good combination to me. that's what's in store for the sierra this weekend. temperatures will be well above average, near freezing for lows with highs reaching the upper 40s and low 50s. that's just too warm for any new snow to fall this weekend, although there is a slight chance of a passing rain shower or some drizzle on sunday. however, all of the resorts have a good base and almost all of the runs are open. while the last week of february looks snow-free, we're certainly not done with the chances for new snow. it looks like an active pattern will return to the sierra and all of california in early march. we'll be watching that for you here in the toyota tahoe report. a new year and a new adventure, with the perfect chevy to take you anywhere. ♪♪ with pure power unleashed. ♪♪ and future-forward technology. ♪♪

. >>> i'm jonny moseley and the mountains are calling. toyota's packed up and ready to go, but let's take a look at what conditions are like. the toyota tahoe report is ready. let's head over to the map. >> our latest atmospheric river is bringing tons of snow to the high sierra. some of the higher elevations are picking up a few feet of snow just today. you're looking at the additional snow amounts in the forecast for friday. travel has been essentially impossible today. that will be the case most of friday even with lighter snow overall. the light snow will wind down by late friday afternoon, so crews should be able to clear the roads friday night into early saturday morning. weather in the mountains for presidents weekend, lows in the teens and 20s with highs mostly in the 30s, a mix of clouds and sunshine saturday, a light rain/snow mix sunday into early monday. the rain/snow line around 6,000 to 7,000 feet. that system does not look substantial. we'll keep you updated on the conditions here in the toyota tahoe report. heidi covey: so
