back in november of 2023, former mayor london breed and then supervisor hillary ronen implemented a streetding moratorium along mission street, and that was to target the sale of illegal goods. that moratorium has been extended multiple times. it is still in effect until june of this year. but now enforcing that moratorium has become a different challenge for the city because city workers and not police officers are enforcing the moratorium along mission street. so, laura, there is quite a road up ahead for this legislation before this really takes to any felt change, possibly on the streets. so safe will go to the committees and then it will go to the senate and to the assembly before it lands on the governor's desk. if all goes well later this year, this would not be in effect until next year, the beginning of next year. so there are still a lot of challenges that need to be solved in the meantimes well. we'll be watching out for how this continues to unfold. laura. most definitely. all right. thanks so much, ginger. well, new developments crews are lifting wreckage of the american airli
