we're seeing a similar forecast all throughout the north bay as we make our way down into the santa clara valley. upper 60s are in store for us today in the santa clara region, anywhere from san jose over to los gatos. but as we head into the next couple of days, a cold front approaches us as early as tomorrow morning, and that's going to drop all these temperatures down by about 3 to 5 degrees. so let's dive into that forecast. starting off with today, the winds are relatively light. yesterday it was a little bit breezier along the coast with gusts up to around 20mph. well today closer to around 15mph at max. the rest of us are going to see light conditions into the afternoon and evening hours. tonight the clouds start to accumulate into the overnight hours tonight, and then we get a quick splash of showers for tomorrow. and we're going to time that out right now, so you can kind of see how fast the system moves through into the afternoon hours we go. we're just seeing mostly cloudy skies in the forecast. that becomes a lot more dense into the overnight hours, just ahead of this cold front that

the santa clara valley topping off in the mid-to-upper 60s and we are in for a treat this afternoon, it is beautiful this morning as the sun starts to rise, and i was in the marine headlands yesterday, it was a little bit breezy, but that is not the case for today. to add to that, we are seeing partly cloudy skies in the forecast, that will look different tomorrow as a cold front approaches us on the topic of cold, we will also see rain in the forecast, too. it comes in relatively light, watch what happens for the next couple of hours, today lasting into the evening tonight, we will see the clouds become a little more dense from offshore, and you will see its signature, just a light band of rain sweeping the area, early tomorrow morning near santa rosa, on the way over into healdsburg, that will track down to the east and i down. we might get a splash or two along the coast, but that will clear out relatively quick and in total, give us close to around 107 inch of rain in the north bay. we have some changes for the rest of this week, but for now i will send it over to you. >>> thank

so a few passing sprinkles the most likely scenario for the santa clara valley. a few hundredths of an inch of rain around the golden gate with the north bay limited to less than a 10th of an inch of total rainfall. and those few leftover showers will completely dissipate during the afternoon tomorrow. so we'll see a little bit of sunshine breaking through before all is said and done by tomorrow afternoon. in terms of the amount, very limited. over the north bay, it is not even going to be enough to largely register. especially compared to the amount of moisture we have seen the first couple of weeks of february. in the sierra, a limited snow maker. we are talking about not even enough to mess up road conditions. things are looking good tomorrow. the dry conditions will last for a while. the eight to 14 day outlook takes us into the month of march. points to a significant chance of drier than normal conditions which doesn't mean zero rainfall but limited rain chances and that goes hand in hand with the above normal temperature pattern we will see by this weekend.
