we have new hampshire where jeanne shaheen has dispatched strong republican challengers. same with virginia and colorado. in michigan, my good friend and predecessor as chair gary peters is retiring. we have a deep bench in michigan and i am confident we will hold that seat. thankfully we have some great opportunities, as well. we have to defeat susan collins in maine. maine is a blue state. we can beat her. she is a tough candidate, vice president harris won maine so i am optimistic we can build on that momentum, find the right candidate and win. in north carolina, senator tillis will be our top target. he nearly won in 2020 and with the right candidate we will win this race. if you look at the north carolina map, we are up the next two cycles. if we spend a lot of time building the grassroots and doing early outreach and building up campaign headquarters, we can win two seats out of north carolina. believe it! there are a number of states that can be in play depending on the environment. these are some red states -- don't get nervous -- it matters who runs, who gets pri
