i believe steve witkoff tried to say it was not him having direct conversations with hamas, but adam bohler, and it was recent weeks. we are vague on the details, but is this the way we should be going about it, speaking directly with hamas? >> i think we have to withhold judgment until we know more. is one thing to talk to terrorists to offer concessions, bend the knee, but another to deliver a blunt warning to them. "let my people go or you are going to face a real storm." we don't know much about what has been said, but judging from how the president has played it before, it seems like this is more of a threat than a concession. >> let's get some of the words in. this is steve witkoff a short time ago in that gaggle on hamas. >> it's time for hamas to start acting in a responsible and reasonable way. we don't think they have been doing that. will see how they are going to react. the president has issued a statement about what is acceptable to him and what is not, and hopefully, we will see good conduct next week, and i will be able to go in and have discussions. >> in this was adam bohle
