the alabama teen who went missing during a high school graduation trip in aruba in 2005. t.j.d joins me now. t.j., i know that you have spoken with sudiksha family. can you tell us how they're doing and what advice or counsel you are giving them? >> i talked to. >> the mother last. >> night, and. >> i tried to tell her that i've been there and done this as i did 2005, to try to get her to maybe bring us on board, because i'm very familiar with this type of investigation, as i did with natalee holloway's case. this feels like a whole new story, as it was in 2005. everybody believes that she's in the water. she drowned, and we can hardly believe that she's somewhere. law enforcement needs to work hands on with. hopefully the fbi and other government agents with our country and try to look at witnesses, look at video cameras, talk to people that may have seen her, the people that she traveled with and try to get answers. >> my god, as a mother, just i cannot imagine what that conversation must have been like to even bring up, say, natalee holloway or otherwise. it's an absolute n

. >> aishah: it is hard not to think about natalee holloway and what happened in aruba.uation that her family went through and the whole country was watching along with her family. obviously it is so sad to see an american family send their daughter off for a vacation, a fun trip and to never get her back. are you hopeful so that you are going to find some answers quickly turned back these situations, time is of the essence. >> time is of the essence. we were on this right away as soon as we found out. contacted our federal counterparts that have some presents down there to make sure everybody was engaged as quickly as possible. working on a lot of things that i cannot really talk about. but believe me, there is a lot of information that is being looked at right now. a lot of different things when it comes to electronic communications, all these other things, but you're right. time is of the essence. we want to make sure we are doing everything in our power. dominican authorities are doing what they can with the helicopters. they are doing everything they can out there.

authorities in the dominican republic we don't want what happened with native because people won't visit arubae and lombizeed the dominican navy and civil defense ford and authorities have being cooperative. i think everybody recognizes when in this case a virginia resident, that we have a leader in washington that foreign governments respect, pay attention. to say i think they are going to be fully cooperative. and i have never heard of any road block so far in this matter. what i would tell the public is so many of these cases simply are broken when somebody who has seen something that has some information and they let people know. they can either go to my social media or call the local -- the loudoun county sheriff's office with any information whatsoever, any phone calls or text messages. perhaps you receive from sudiksha before her missing. any information even if you think it doesn't really matter, it may matter in a case like this. please pass it onto the proper authorities. >> ainsley: yeah. the loudoun county sheriff's office if you have any information their number is 703-777-1021 or

among her many cases is the natalee holloway disappearance in aruba in 2005. mary ellen, thank you for joining. i need your expertise because it's been five days since sudiksha was last seen. are you concerned with how little we still know about what might have happened? >> it is really very concerning that we know so little about her, and we know very little about really what's being done, other than the things that we read in the newspaper about the searches and the dogs and the drones and so forth. so at this point, i'm really, frankly, if this case had occurred in the united states, because we unfortunately see a number of these cases, there would have been a lot more work done, at least from my perspective. for example, we would have been developing a very thorough victimology on this young woman to understand what her personality is like and if any of her behavior like what we saw on that videotape, was that out of character for her? because that can give us a lot of insight into what would cause her to hook up with someone she just met, and he looks lik
