today is not the day to go to the beach. around me throughout the bay and around the coast with a small craft advisory just as long so anyone who plans to take the boat today is the day to not do that. here is what we are gearing up for today, 50s from santa rosa to san francisco. half moon bay topping out at 53 degrees. a cool day, but back to where we should be for daytime highs. a few days ago we were talking about 70s from last wednesday until last friday. over the weekend cooling down now daytime highs back to where they should be and we will see changes in the weather pattern. for the most part today on and off clouds, clouds become thicker throughout the bay area as we are headed into tuesday morning and tuesday afternoon, another frontal system sweeps through with this one bringing light to moderate showers throughout the bay area. more on this in a little bit and how that will impact us as we gear up for more showers later in the week. for now, over to you. >>> first alert weather brought to you by aaa insurance. ge
