bay area. it's shifting farther south this afternoon. and that's why we have more blue sky than what we started with earlier today. but if you looked up and saw all those clouds, you know where they're coming from. at this point, the winds are generally light and closer to the coast. we're actually a little bit cooler today, even down by seven degrees at half moon bay. so you're feeling a difference down by six sfo, but then you go inland and we are up by ten, even 11 degrees over areas like livermore and concord where we are near 80 degrees this afternoon. so a record breaking and near record breaking heat for some 79 in walnut creek. in fact, a 77 is the standing record for san jose. so we'll have to see if the national weather service, what they register the afternoon for the airport there in san jose in the north bay. 79, in novato, a beautiful 71 in san francisco. let's go to the north bay. take a look at a few more numbers here, where we have upper 70s in sonoma at this time. for the inner east bay, we have upper 70s in lafayette,
