working on unconfirmed continues for different law enforcement agencies including pacifica police, a daley cityn mateo sheriff's office. they are working on unconfirmed reports of a homicide and one person who is in critical condition. nbc bay area's skyranger is also above the scene as we speak and as the investigation continues, you can see that crime scene which remains taped off. we have not yet heard official word from law enforcement, but i did speak to someone who lives nearby who says he knows at least one of the victims. he told me it appears to be a domestic violence conflict between a woman and her ex-husband. what we did hear from pacifica police was a post this morning. it happened before 10:00. it reads there is an active police investigation in valomar. we are asking residents to avoid the area. the suspect is not in the area and there is no immediate threat to the public safety in the pacifica community. one of the biggest streets in the neighborhood was on lockdown for much of the morning. apart from naomi street still remains that way. schools in pacifica were on lockdown incl

it happened on interstate 280 near daley city. it appears he lost control and hit another vehicle. the man had gotten out of his car and started running, when he tried to detained them he assaulted them and ran into the southbound lanes of the freeway. he was hit by at least one other car. they're trying to figure out who he is, because he had an id on him that clearly did not belong to him. >>> a vigil is planned for sunday for a popular priest killed this week. he was arrested yesterday after one of his relatives called police. investigators say he confronted the reverand and the man killed freed. he had been arrested the night before but was released from jail hours before freed was killed. >>> damage caused by this fire at the chinese consulate. it did significant damage for the building's facade. the lobby was also damage. the fire was caused by someone throwing in an incendiary device in the building. they're also investigating the attack. >>> a fire was set for the memorial for andy lopez was an accident. he was killed by a sheriff's deputy. he thought the toy gun was a weap

daley city police are trying to figure out exactly what caused that crash. >>> in vallejo, nearly 350 firearms were taken off the streets. who turned the rocket launcher in, no one knows, because the buyback promises no questions asked. law enforcement agencies worked together to hold the gun buyback at the fairgrounds yesterday. the rest of the weapons turned in were 113 handguns, 67 shotguns, and one 163 rifles. police encourage anyone with guns that they don't use be turned in. it's often unauthorized weapons are used to kill someone. the weapons collected this weekend will all be turned into scrap. some of that scrap will help a local artist create a sculpture memorializing victims of gun violence. >>> nothousands of people in la enforcement went through the emotional dask three days ago of saying good-bye to two santa cruz police officers killed in the line of duty. and now for the first time we are hearing from firefighters who were on the scene when the bullets started flying. keeping it in the upper 50s for daley city, hawthorne bay. as you start to push your way inland and head to the south, that's where we actually could pick up some low 70s. we could reach for 70 for fairfield, concord and yok and those of you in san hossee. as we head into the middle of the week, it looks like that warming trend will certainly take place. we will have a high pressure ridge back with us, so temperatures start to climb. as we transition into the weekend, it looks like those 70s potentially, some 80s will stick around and you'll see that on your seven-day around the bay forecast. nothing but warm, sunny conditions pretty much everywhere around the bay area. now, it will be a little bit cooler along the coastline, but we still could make it in the 70s for friday and for saturday. and the good news is it looks like we'll hold on to this warming trend, at least the mild conditions and key word dry as we start the next work week. so we'll continue to fine tune your forecast. but over in the traffic center, not looking at any hot spot
