one of the reasons that run was so devastating was because we live in a digital world. there was panic on social media, they were -- there were calls to get out while you can. and people were able to make withdraws almost instantaneously, $42 billion was attempted to be withdrawn from that bank. we've never seen anything like that. how does any bank withstand a run like that? >> i think this is in some ways a reality that we cannot fully stop when it comes to the fact -- the fast-moving communications and actions. we already have 70 ways at men -- people can -- we already have so many ways that people can transferoney. that will only accelerate one of the things that the cfpb will accelerate -- introduce next year. it has real implications for how we ensure that banks and other inns fusions are liquid -- and other instutions are liquid and have skin in the game. i do think, with the right oversight, they would able to withstand those demands. of course, i don't think that there is a way to put the genie back in theottle when it comes to 24/7 communition. it is a realy w
