certain appeal this year as we can see and i think those voters went to trump and not available to chris christiend left him not enough. >> the fight here that involved christie really was among sort of also rans and christie decided he had to take out rubio and he focused in on rubio. rubio initially went after christie on the bridgegate thing. ransom ads on that here but in the latter part of this campaign, it was all about christie and specifically in the debate taking on rubio. even yesterday. they were at it again with christie making the point that, you know, you can look at the senate record and accomplishments and wonder whether or not rubio's ever been in the senate. >> always an issue or choice that a candidate faces to try to take down or take out after another candidate is you can do it, you can often do it successfully in the sense of damaging the other candidate but do you look good doing it? i suspect people felt chris christie didn't look good doing it. >> a double-edged sword with that debate move. martha, we are burying the lead here in that donald trump win is huge. it is 34%.
