police are at the hom she's still missing at sea. nancy chen joins us now with new developments overnight. >> nancy: sarah, good morning to you. police in middletown, connecticut, executing a search warrant at the home of nathan carman's mother. linda carman is presumed to be dead after being lost at sea for two weeks now. last night detectives were inside her home for an hour. they took several items from a home in brown paper bags, but exactly what was taken is still trying to figure out what happened during the fishing trip that carman took with her son. nathan carman was found in a life raft sunday night, reunited with his father on tuesday. this discovery has also reopened questions about the death of carman's grandfather, who was murdered back in 2013. and this morning the "herald" is reporting that linda carman was also a person of interest in her father's death. that's according to carman's former attorney. nathan was also considered a person of interest in that case, with a crime. and he also denied any involvement. in the newsroo
