superintendent carranza, president painter haley, rather i'm sorry. other members of the board thank you for listening to me. my daughter was in-for 3 years. she described waited last year and is now in 9th grade. she was doing well enough to where we decided she was mature enough to look around at lowell, at lincoln, the other high schools there. she got a sliding the way. she was also in that other charter school located with de soto. she chose flex. because it presented the opportunity for her she liked. she is nearly all straight a's, if not stated she's coming out of her shell. she's doing very well at flex academy. she liked the attention she gets good considered been turned into a school with 2500-3000 students, not so much personal time with teachers she gets a lot of personal attention with the teachers due to the small class size. no, i understand that there are issues around p 39 granting of facilities. i also understand, though, we have enough interest, parents names and numbers were provided to fulfill some of the prop 39 records for numb

that's what we're going to spend quality time doing and i kind of agree with superintendent carranzahat the presentations by the departments is pretty refreshing to hear because it's usually only discussed in the daily work of the school district strategic plan in this room, and now we're able to hear from departments what their intent is or what they want to do and in holding everybody accountable we wanted to make sure we have a framework to discuss our goals as an entire city of all the participants and tonight we want to also put life into these frameworks by beginning with real life stories, stories like reggie danielson's story and how he grew up in the city and what he encountered as someone who went through the entire touching of different parts and how maybe through his story suggests that we can do even better and more and use these words like integration and alignment with some real life stories ahead, and then followed by reggie's presentation we will have does sca laurie again to point us in the right direction and her focus will be to keep us in the right direction, but
