have you seen the big queues outside primark? i have indeed.before seven o'clock this morning and the queue was actually right down at birmingham's high street. it has died down now because people have been allowed in but before seven o'clock, there were several hundred people in this queue waiting for the shops to open. it was due to open at eight o'clock but because of demand and because of the queue stretching down the street, they decided to get the doors open at around 7.25. since then, i would estimate probably around 500 people have gone into primark, chatting to a few of the people in the queue. they said they needed various thing, one woman said she needed cushions and that is what she wanted to come out for this morning. more importantly they wanted to feel more normality, get back out there into retail, be with other people and get into the shops and actually spend some money. people here can be socially distanced. lots of security making sure people cap two metres apart in the queue and this is the well‘s biggest primark, 161,000 sq

to go through as one of germany's film is munich the place to be for movie makers and primark the place to be. might have amazon and we've got some serious competition and that's berlin of course young people go to berlin partly because it's much more affordable to live there. but i like being in munich. unit is a good base to start off from it's a good city to come home to. when you travel around the world and see all kinds of exciting things but also get a bit stressed out from it all then munich is a lovely place to return to it's a sheltered and structured world and i find it's a very orderly city. if indeed this and. i'm sure you started out studying documentary filmmaking when did you make the transition to feature films. except as i don't have so can i realised fairly quickly to be honest i sneaked my way into film school via documentary films because the entry requirements for documentary filmmaking were more up my street. and so that's what i applied for and once i was unrolled i wanted to work with actors shops naked makethis and i still get but i realise pretty early on that

i was at primark this morning in my town and there we re this morning in my town and there were queuesere mothers taking their kids back to get close, shoes after three months off, and they were being extremely sensible with proper queues and a proper order, and i think that will be the duck —— dominant force over the next few months. people use that word normal, but what will the nude normality be, do you think? broadly, i think there will be a slow reduction of retail on the high street. there will be people living in towns. there will be an increase in office and residential, back in the towns. offices will be smaller and more discreet. i think residencies will be greater in numberandl residencies will be greater in numberand i think residencies will be greater in number and i think the whole retail experience will be smaller, we will not have those mad queues that were used to have, and people will be purchasing any more caring and confident fashion. they will be using online for some things, but they will be using the proper experience type of buying, and restau ra nts a nd bars e

by the time europe's biggest primark reopened just before 7, there were nearly 100 waiting to get in,aspect because i hate when it's busy, shopping. so, hopefully, it stays quiet while i'm here this morning. i definitely don't want to be in crowds. i wanted to get into nice and early to get back out, really, as safe as possible. is everyone ready?! over at selfridge's, they were excited to welcome shoppers back. it's so important, and whilst online trading has been brilliant and stores have been supportive with that, nothing beats that experience of having customers in the store shopping for their christmas gifts. birmingham is in tier 3, that means you can't go to the pub, you can't meet your friends and go for a meal and you can't sit inside. it's click and collect, or takeaway only. normally, this street would be packed with hundreds of shoppers because this is where the german christmas market would be. there is no obvious sign of a mass rush back to the shops today and that might be because people are still nervous. this is an area where there has been a high infection rate and p
