here the winter storm warnings still up in the sierra nevada because of all the snow falling tonight, roads that continued until 11:00am tomorrow. we're going to catch a little bit of a break to watch this year's them are in forecast core low spinning off the coastline, you see all the snow up in the sierra nevada that low still spends around through tomorrow bringing more scattered showers to the bay area more snow up in the sierra nevada as well though not as heavy as today and then as we get into wednesday kind of one last gasp with that system sliding down the 7 got california, the core low moving in that direction still a chance of a few scattered showers here maybe a brief break on the first day of spring which is thursday, but then watch what happens we get to friday here we go we've got another storm system spinning off the coastline with the chance of some showers moving on shore little more rain expected as we head through the weekend too and then another one comes on shore as we get into next week. so certainly an active weather pattern just what we've been waiting for and

you really start to hear that widespread pitter patter on the windows and then snow up in the sierra nevada all the way up to the oregon border, so this will be a good rain maker not a washout but a good soaking rainfall that is just enough to get the ground wet and get us back in the right direction. showers really dumb initially saturday before a second wave of moisture works its way in come sunday. this'll a push into the bay area looks like to be middle of the day on sunday and that will result in more widespread rainfall all across the bay and snowfall up in the sierra nevada in the process monday and tuesday drive back out. then we're rainfall looking likely into the middle of next week. rainfall totals will amount to anywhere from a half an inch to in some cases even a little bit more than that this isn't a big storm, but it is a storm that is going to get the ground saturated help us out with fire danger because remember we had a red flag warnings at the start of the week and just get us back on track 50's for your daytime highs at the coast as well as elsewhere in the bay is going
