highs right after midnight this
morning and we have been holding steady in the
low to mid 30s for much of the
day. it is much
colder to the west where some in
nw iowa
reported 9" of snow! winds are
southerly at 5
to 15 mph and will be from the
southwest for much of the day.
the low is tracking almost to
the north right now and will
keep snow showers tracking into our area
through the day and into the
night as that next lobe
rotates around. as the low
tracks away from
us, high pressure will track in
from the west
and will help to dry us out for
the rest of the week.. until
then we will keep snow showers in
the area through tonight with
most only seeing a
trace to an inch... although
some could get a little more in
showers today with temps in the
mid to
upper 30s today. we should end
up with an inch or less of snow
in most areas with lows in
the 20s tonight. some flurries
will continue
through wednesday before we dry out for
the rest of the week and into
the weekend. highs
